BURST GIRL (爆裂女子; Bakuretsu Joshi) emerged as a formidable force in the Japanese punk-rock idol scene, formed in late 2017 by the talented former members of Guso Drop. Their debut on January 7, 2018, marked the beginning of an exhilarating journey, which, although it concluded on October 3, 2021, left an indelible mark on the music landscape. The group comprised dynamic members, including Yurapico (ゆらぴこ), who took on the role of leader and was instrumental in crafting their captivating choreography. Rin (凛), a former member of Guso Drop, brought her unique artistry to the ensemble. Roa (路亜 / ろあ) joined the ranks on September 17, 2019, infusing fresh energy into the group, while Waka (若), who became a member on May 13, 2020, also hailed from Guso Drop, adding to their rich heritage. With electrifying performances and a distinctive fusion of punk rock and idol culture, BURST GIRL captivated audiences across Japan and beyond. Each member contributed their individual flair, creating a vibrant and unforgettable sound that resonated deeply with fans.
