CANTOY, established in 2004, is renowned for its unique fusion of endearing vocals and an intense digital hardcore sound. The band originated with vocalist Miri-pow and guitarist Catherine, who connected via an online platform for band recruitment. Initially, they performed under the name Candy★Toybox before rebranding as CANTOY in 2009, at which point they evolved their musical direction to integrate elements of heavy metal and electronic music.
