Daisuke Kurosawa is a distinguished Japanese composer and guitarist celebrated for his impactful contributions to the realms of game music and progressive metal. Born on February 23, 1983, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Kurosawa’s musical odyssey commenced in his early years. His career gained significant momentum in 2003 when he achieved second place in the prestigious Dream Theater Official Songwriting Contest. From 2006 to 2017, he served as a game music composer at KONAMI under the alias “96” (Kuro), where he played a pivotal role in the evolution of the BEMANI series.
