ELLEGARDEN

ELLEGARDEN, a prominent rock band established in December 1998 in Chiba Prefecture, comprises Takeshi Hosomi on vocals and guitar, Shinichi Ubukata on guitar, Yuichi Takada on bass, and Hirotaka Takahashi on drums. The band is celebrated for its dynamic fusion of pop punk, punk rock, and alternative rock, drawing notable comparisons to Western acts such as Sum 41 and Blink-182. ELLEGARDEN achieved substantial acclaim both in Japan and abroad, with their 2006 release Eleven Fire Crackers soaring to the top of the Oricon charts. After announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2008 to pursue solo endeavors, the band made a triumphant return to the music scene in May 2018, embarking on a national tour that reestablished their presence after a decade-long absence.
