He has achieved international recognition through both his solo projects and as a member of the band Dios. Born on July 7, 1994, in Japan, Ichika’s musical journey began with the piano, influenced by luminaries such as Bill Evans, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Joe Hisaishi. He subsequently transitioned to guitar, crafting a distinctive style marked by innovative tapping techniques and intricate melodies. Since launching his performances on Instagram in 2016, he has garnered significant attention for his technical skill and unique sound. Ichika’s solo compositions deftly blend jazz, math rock, and ambient music.
