LiSA, whose real name is Risa Oribe, is a distinguished singer and songwriter celebrated for her captivating performances and significant contributions to the realm of anime music. Hailing from Seki in Gifu Prefecture and born on June 24, 1987, she embarked on her solo career in 2011, quickly garnering international recognition. Her musical journey commenced as the lead vocalist for the indie band Chucky, and she made her solo debut with the mini-album Letters to U. Renowned for her powerful vocals, LiSA has lent her voice to numerous acclaimed anime series, including Angel Beats where she performed as part of the fictional band Girls Dead Monster, Sword Art Online with the iconic opening theme Crossing Field, and Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba with the hit opening theme Gurenge. Notably, her single Gurenge achieved remarkable success, becoming the first track by a female solo artist in Japan to exceed 30 million downloads.
