Matenrou Opera (摩天楼オペラ),  is a prominent visual kei metal band established in 2007 by vocalist Sono and drummer Yuu, both of whom previously performed with Jeniva. The name Matenrou Opera, translating to Skyscraper Opera, reflects the band’s unique synthesis of contemporary and classical musical elements. Renowned for their symphonic power metal style, Matenrou Opera combines heavy metal with intricate classical influences, boasting complex compositions and a striking visual kei aesthetic.
